Flaws Are Thick Where Love Is Thin

I was driving down the back roads of Star, Idaho one summer evening in 2007. As I was enjoying the heavenly aroma of freshly mowed hay in the fields, I came upon a small church. The church had one of those marquee signs out front and this is what was written on it:

FLAWS ARE THICK WHERE LOVE IS THIN

This struck such a chord of resonance with me that it has stayed with me ever since and I often go back to it when I’m in a low point in a relationship.

See everything in the Universe is just energy and everything consists of cycles. Think in terms of hours, days, months, seasons. Full moon, new moon, seeds, blossoms, fruit, you get the picture.
